About ICSE
For over four decades, its main activity has been in the educational field; countless courses and training programs have been conducted by the company, with over 120,000 students passing through its classrooms during these 40 years.
At the core of ICSE, education, lies the entity’s strong social commitment in diverse yet essential areas such as gender equality, inclusion of people with disabilities, sustainability and the environment, or support for people at risk of social exclusion, among other actions.
The year 2000 marks the birth of the Canary Islands ICSE Foundation, a non-profit organization whose nature is essentially socio-cultural and educational. Its main objective is to carry out training activities framed in topics of great interest and social concern for the Canary Islands: Environment, Immigration, Justice and Security, Family and Violence, Disability and Accessibility, Health and Aging, Education and Skill Development, ...
The Foundation adopts the experience, methodology, and human and technical resources of the ICSE Business Group, which it supports and complements. Its essential mission is to promote the development and dissemination of knowledge through courses, conferences, seminars, debates, and meetings; to encourage studies of Canary Islands’ reality concerning culture, customs, geography, economy, and the environment.
It is also established to promote Higher University Studies in the Canary Islands. It collaborates with regional and local administrations in programs for Job Placement, Employment Training, services for the integration of immigrants or migrants, support for People with Disabilities, Sustainable Development and the Environment, Information Security, etc.
Develops educational activities at various levels and subjects within the professional practice of the sciences and techniques of Psychology and Education, including clinical, industrial, and pedagogical aspects.
Its social purpose and foundational commitment are based on carrying out any activity related to teaching and the professional practice of Psychology, adhering to the principles of the primacy of Human Rights, compliance with the democratic and constitutional order, independence, and respect for political, religious, and ideological pluralism, and the defense of equality and non-discrimination.
Its creation responds to the need to expand ICSE’s fields of action and contribute to the business development of the Canary Islands and its surroundings. It organizes and coordinates non-regulated education courses, as well as postgraduate, specialization, and update courses. It fosters and develops studies on the Canary Islands’ reality in relation to its culture, customs, history, geography, economy, legislation, etc.
It organizes meetings, seminars, and debates on culture, science, and technology. It publishes books and monographs on scientific, educational, and humanities topics, and produces technical and educational materials. It contributes to strengthening the firm’s commitment to service excellence, transparency, and sustainability through social, institutional, and business dialogue.
Focuses its activity on supporting the technological infrastructure of the business group and specializes in the distribution and production of technical, computer, and educational resources, IT equipment, technical books, tests, and office products, production and marketing of software (standard and custom), manuals and computer programs, technical maintenance service, consulting, technical training courses, development of applications in the technological and IT fields, installation of communication networks, provision of professional services to companies and individuals, graphic and artistic design, layout of publications, web design, development and control of ICSE’s online platform and virtual campus.
It is the youngest company in the group. Established in Tenerife, it inherits the experience and management model of the ICSE organization. It focuses its services and activities on the preferential and comprehensive attention to businesses, their demands, needs, and priorities in consulting and training.
